Betrayed - ch. 3Chapter 3   
Masamune forced his lone blue eye to open. Someone was shaking him – gently, not violently. A soft voice was calling his name.   
"Masamune."   
It was quite dark in his room. He groaned and rolled onto his side. Whoever was next to him giggled.   
"Masamune, you aren't much of a morning person are you?"   
"Hnngh, no..." he replied, half-awake. The bed dipped on the side and suddenly he was being leaned over. A hand deliberately stroked the eye patch. He was awake instantly.   
Megohime shrieked a bit when Masamune bolted into a sitting position. He raked a hand th Betrayed - ch. 3

How long had he been walking again? It felt like hours.   
'My feet hurt...' he looked down at them. They were caked in mud, had bits of leaves sticking to them and were probably cut all over the bottom. They really hurt.   
On top of that, he was exhausted. He didn't know how much longer he could continue. He'd been to several villages already, and no one in any of them had seen anyone that looked like Azai's widow. At this rate, he wasn't going to find her. It was safe to assume she was dead.   
After that thought Masamune was overcome by dizziness. He tripped on a tree root and fell to t Betrayed - ch. 2

Lightning flashed outside; the thunder followed in an angry roar. The rain could have been falling harder than it was.   
The ground was so wet that nothing could walk through it without getting stuck. The river that swept through the village was murky with mud. This time of the month was more to the needs of the snails and frogs, and any other animal that delighted in the gloomy weather.   
It was the wet season in Oshuu, which meant that winter was drawing near. The air was cold, and the rain made it worse. No one liked getting wet when it was cold outside.

Thoughts are difficult to express.

I'm going to be starting with these sketches, and I'm gonna start coloring asap. I changed around the lyrics a bit to make the drawings easier for me to do. Buuuut you guys won't see who's in what picture until I actually start submitting on December first ;P So until then, all you get is this modified version of "12 Days of Christmas"

On the first day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, a partridge in a Pine Tree.
On the second day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, two turtle doves.
On the third day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, three chocolate kisses.
On the fourth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, four calling cats.
On the fifth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, five golden rings.
On the sixth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, six blades-a-flashing.
On the seventh day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, seven swans-a-swimming.
On the eighth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, eight bees-a-buzzing.
On the ninth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, nine ladies dancing.
On the tenth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, ten lords-a-leaping.
On the eleventh day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, eleven angels prancing.
On the twelfth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me, twelve fireworks crackling.
